PIZZA

Jadon and Andy had a fun morning here at the hospital doing "boy things".  I think that is mainly playing the Wii although they did do some reading, too.

When Kalina, Grandma and I arrived late in the morning Jadon was ready with a plan for lunch - PIZZA!  He and Andy had checked the weather and decided it was good enough for another walk to U Village for Delfino's.  This time I walked with Jadon.  We enjoyed the beautiful fall colors on the way.  Jadon is good at telling me "left" or "right" when I am pushing him to avoid big bumps in the sidewalk.  After a delicious lunch we went looking for lights for our pumpkins (no open flames here).

Shortly after our return to the hospital it was pumpkin carving time.  Andy usually does very intricate pumpkins.  This year they were not so detailed but were still cool.  He helped Jadon carve a Tie Fighter and he carved an X-Wing.  Kalina and Grandma have great jack-o-lantern faces and I carved a cat at Kalina's request.  We always have a lot of fun carving our pumpkins and this year was no exception.

Jadon's friends Owen and Gavin came for a Wii playing visit this afternoon.  They took turns playing and reading hints.  They make a good team.

We had a nice dinner provided by our friend Shelly.  After shower time for Jadon it was time for Andy, Kalina and Grandma to go home.

Tomorrow Jadon has two x-rays.  Please pray for some significant correction in his spine.

  1. Hello! I read your blog from very far away. Your brave boy has all my respect. I keep my fingers crossed for his x-rays. I'm glad he was able to connect with his class. I hope my English is understandable. Kisses to your children.
