Halloween Fun

We had a fun, busy weekend.  On Saturday, Peggy (Kalina’s school nurse) invited us to her church’s Halloween Carnival.  Peggy met us there with two of her children.  We had a great time.  Kalina and Jadon loved all the games.  Jadon wore his Yoda costume but Kalina decided she didn’t really want to wear her Mulan dress. L  Kalina did a super job driving her scooter in the crowd (and Jadon did, too, of course).

After that we went to Monster Bash.  Last year when we went Jadon was in traction.  Again, Jadon and Kalina enjoyed playing all the games.  Kalina painted a pumpkin and they both won Trophy Cupcakes in the cake walk (Andy and I say thanks).  Have I mentioned how much I love Trophy Cupcakes…

Today was pumpkin carving day.  I made the mistake of letting Jadon get a Star Wars pattern book.  The two designs he and Andy chose were not the easiest to carve but I think the time we spent was worth it.  Kalina and I had fun decorating our pumpkins with a kit she and Andy found.
