One Month Post-Op

Jadon had his one month post-op appointment today.  He is doing remarkably well.  Dr. White thought he looked good and was pleased with his progress.  Jadon is sitting longer and walking more each day.  Jadon was also given the ok to take baths again (not just showers).  Jadon was excited with that news.    

School is going well for Jadon and Kalina.  It won’t be long before winter break is here. 

We have also been enjoying time with Uncle Art.  Last weekend we went to see The Lights of Christmas, a huge Christmas light display.  That was beautiful.  We also went downtown to see the gingerbread house display and teddy bear suite.  Kalina and I also rode the Holiday Carrousel. 

We are all enjoying the Christmas season.  We have been trying to explain Christmas to Kalina.  Apparently she understands that we are celebrating Jesus’ birthday.  The other day she told me I needed to call baby Jesus’ mom to ask her what he would like for his birthday so we could get him a present.  When I told her that might be hard she suggested trying Jesus’ dad for ideas.  I still smile when I think about that conversation.   J
