Jadon had a pretty uneventful night. When we got to the PICU we were put in a double room. I expected this because the ICU is pretty full right now. Shortly after our arrival, we got moved to a single room. It was very nice to have the extra quiet and privacy last night.
He was awoken every two hours for neuro checks so he did not get a long stretch of sleep. He is sleepy today and still pretty groggy.
He had one IV removed this morning because it was already not working. We hope to get at least one more removed today.
Jadon is feeling nauseous. We are trying some different medicine to see if that will help him. He asked to eat last night and we are hoping he'll be able to do that before too long.
Dr. White came to see Jadon this morning. He is in no rush to move him to the floor. He wants to make sure he is doing well. He still needs some supplemental oxygen and he has a fever. He said we'll see how Jadon is doing this afternoon.
Praises for this morning:
Successful surgery
Great nurses in the PICU
Our own room
Prayer Requests:
No more nauseous feeling
No more fever
Good pain management
A restful day
