Only 5 More Days

Jadon was awake early this morning.  We even got some school work done before Andy, Kalina and Grandma arrived with Top Pot doughnuts.  Yum!

I saw Dr. White this morning.  Jadon's x-ray yesterday afternoon showed he is doing fine with the extra weight.  Kalina made me talk to him in the hallway because her baby doll was sleeping.  She actually opened the door (it was partially open so she finished opening it) and told us we were too loud and to go outside.  I love her!  Luckily, Dr. White was not offended by the request to leave.

Jadon had a busy day of school.  Between class sessions, he and Grandma watched Cars 2.  What fun!  They took a break from their busy day to have lunch in the cafeteria.

Kalina had fun at school.  When we returned this afternoon, Aunt Jayne was here for a visit.  She got to see Jadon video conference with his class and do PT, including the hill.  We missed seeing the rest of the Hammingh family but it was nice to see her.

We had a nice dinner thanks to our friend Shelly again.  She has been keeping us well fed.

Jadon has a CT scan and an MRI tomorrow.  The CT scan should be pretty easy.  It is a quick procedure.  At 11 AM he is going to have an MRI.  We are going to try to do this unsedated and it should last between 45 and 60 minutes.  Jadon has always been sedated for MRIs in the past so this will be a new experience.  We are going for a tour of the MRI room in the morning where we will see the machine and hear what it sounds like.  Please pray that it goes well.  I will be with him as long as he does not need to be sedated.

Since I am staying here with Jadon tomorrow for his MRI, Kalina will have some Grandma time.  She really wants me to take her to school but it not possible with his MRI schedule.  Please pray that she has a fun morning with Grandma.  I think they will both enjoy some time playing at home once Kalina gets over not seeing Jadon and me in the morning.  They will come here after school for a fun afternoon and evening with us.
