Jadon and Kalina both attended
Camp Prov again this summer. It was
Jadon’s seventh year and Kalina’s third.
It is a wonderful camp that meets three hours a day for a week.
This year we were able to
coordinate going with another family that has a little person son, just about
Jadon’s age. The two of them were in the
same group and enjoyed spending a few hours with each other for the week. Jadon also enjoyed the crafts (kind of unlike
him but I’ll take it). Kalina really
liked being able to sit in the wading pool and get a little wet (her version of
swimming). Both Jadon and Kalina had
great camp buddies.
Camp Prov is run by Providence
Hospital. Jadon received therapy there
as a young child through the Providence Children’s Center. We appreciate them offering the camp. Our campers always have fun!
