9 Hours!

Jadon and Andy had a good night.  They enjoyed their "boy time".  I am just glad they did not stay up all night reading and playing.

Kalina, Grandma and I got here around 10 AM to find Jadon up and ready for a fun day.  He and Andy finished a book this morning and played a little before we arrived.

Jadon likes to get out of his room so we took a lot of walks today.  Our walks are not usually too exciting but at least we are not stuck in one place.

Ashlee came to visit us after lunch.  We took her to the play room (or bubble room, as Kalina calls it).  Jadon likes to play pool there.  Kalina explores the other assortment of toys.

While we were in the play room, Karen came to visit.  She joined us in the play room and then we returned to our room.  When the play room gets crowded, we tend to leave.

Ashlee brought Jadon a Mad Libs.  Jadon had never done one and we all had fun doing some of those.  There was a lot of laughter coming from our room.

Later in the afternoon Michelle and Jayden came to visit.  Jadon and Jayden had fun playing the Wii.

We had dinner and returned to our room.  Jadon was tired.  He manged to sit in his wheelchair for 9 HOURS!  What a great job!

Kalina, Grandma and Andy stayed a little longer.  Kalina is still recovering from getting 5 shots at her 4 year check-up on Friday.  She got pretty tired again this evenings (even though she slept until ~7:45 AM this morning) and needed to go home.

We are going to try to Skype with one of Jadon's friends.  If anyone else would like to try to Skype with us, just let us know.

After a long, fun day, Jadon is sleeping.  He does not need to be woken for neuro checks during the night and he sometimes sleeps through vitals.  I think he'll sleep well.

Tomorrow we are going to try to get Jadon is the traction walker (but he will probably just stand).  This is scheduled while Kalina is at school so Grandma will take her to school tomorrow.  I want to be here for the standing/walking.

We are still looking for visitors for this week.  Even if you can only come for a few minutes, Jadon would sure appreciate it.
