On May 29, Jadon had his end of
the year band concert. His band played
three songs. Jadon played a different
instrument on each one – the snare drum, the tom toms and the bass drum. Jadon
quickly decided he is not a huge fan of the bass drum. The bass drum part he played was the same
measure for all 52 measures of the song.
Boring, he said. I reminded him
that everyone needs to take turns playing all the different instruments.
He, and his fellow band members,
did a great job. Jadon is already
looking forward to band next year. We
purchased his instruments so we are really hoping he sticks with it for a
while.
Jadon also wanted to make note
that May 29 is the 5 year anniversary of his first back surgery. He remembers pretty much every date he has
had a significant medical procedure.
Amazing memory.
