To me, every day is Mother’s Day. Each day I get to celebrate being the mother
of the two miracles God gave Andy and me as gifts – perfect gifts. People often wonder if I would change
anything about my two gifts. My answer is
always the same – not a thing. They are “fearfully
and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14). I,
as a person and as a mother, have learned so much from them. They have taught
me to be more patient, understanding, gracious, loving and considerate. They have taught me not to judge others by
what I see. Each day with them is a
blessing. I have a new thing to learn
from them. Maybe, if I am lucky, I can
teach them a thing or two. Each day is
full of surprises. Each day is full of
wonder as I watch my gifts grow and learn to do new things. I like Mother’s Day but two days mean much
more to me than that day - November 6 and October 7.
